Tony Michael Davis

Tony Michael Davis, age 62 of LaFollette, went home to be with his Savior on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at U.T. Medical Center. He was born on May 17, 1959 to the late John Davis Sr. and Nettie (Stanford) Davis. Tony was a Christian of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord very much.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law John Darrell and Nancy Davis of LaFollette. Also, by his mother and father-in-law the late Charles and Helen Williams, brother-in-law Ted and Larry Williams, sister-in-law Carolyn Sue Gibson all of LaFollette.

Tony loved playing his bass for the Lord in a couple of different gospel groups, The Eastern Gate Trio and Different Way Quartet. He also enjoyed playing music with his brother Steve Davis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Diane Davis. His daughter and son-in-law, Starla and Curtis Collins; daughter Rachel Davis all of LaFollette. Two grandchildren, Joshua and Hannah Collins; brothers, Charlie Davis and wife Joann Davis, Steve Davis and wife Barbara of LaFollette, Randy and wife Karen Davis of Mt. Juliet, TN; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Ronnie Freeman and Rev. William Boyd Bingham III officiating. The family will meet at 10:15 AM on Friday March 11, 2022 and go in funeral procession to Davis Chapel Cemetery for an 11 AM interment.
