Ulys Gilbert Brantley

Ulys Gilbert Brantley, age 71 of LaFollette passed away on Saturday March 8, 2014. Mr. Brantley was of the Baptist Faith. He was a very loving husband of 50 years, a father, grandfather and great grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, he loved farming, raising cattle, raising a garden and was an avid Nascar fan that never met a stranger and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by parents Elmer and Edith Wilson Brantley, sister JoAnn Bostic, brothers J M and Clifford Brantley.

Survived by wife Pauline Brantley of LaFollette, daughters Betty and Darrell Kilgore LaFollette, Debbie and Danny Queener of Campbell County, brother Eugene Brantley of LaFollette, sister, Faye Henning of LaFollette, grandchildren Dustin Welden and wife Katrina, Daniel, Brandon and Angelica Queener, great grandchildren Madison and Brantley Welden, a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday March 10, 2014 in Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow with Rev. O. D. Hill officiating. Interment will be 11:00 am Tuesday March 11, 2014 in Bakers Forge cemetery.
