Velsie May

Velsie "Blondie" Wilson May, age 78 of Jacksboro passed away Thursday May 14 at her residence.

Mrs. May was a member of Cumberland View Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl McGhee and Senda Bullock McGhee also her husbands Robert Wilson and Rex May; brothers Don McGhee and Audie McGhee.

Survivors include a step-daughter Robin Glover and a special niece Kathy Queener Wilson; brothers Sam McGhee of Jacksboro and Harry McGhee of Ohio; sisters Gladys Queener of Jacksboro and Ocie Burch of Ohio; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday May 16 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Services will be at 8 p.m. Saturday May 16 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson officiating.  Family and friends will gather at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Sunday May 17 for a graveside service at Campbell Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m.
