Vesta Mae Mccloud

August 1, 1938 — September 29, 2014

Vesta Mae McCloud, age 76, of Jacksboro passed away on Monday, September 29th, 2014. She was a member of Vasper Baptist Church. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to preaching and singing on Channel 12, taught Sunday school for over 10 years, cleaned the church, and did the books for Vasper Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Everett & Lettie (Walls) Belcher; husband Wiley McCloud; son Raymond McCloud; daughter Sandra McCord; brothers Johnny and Harold Belcher; sisters Elsie Belcher and Belva Workman; and grandchild Charlie McCloud, Jr.

She is survived by her sons Charles McCloud & wife Shari of LaFollette, Wiley McCloud, Jr. & wife Roberta of Dandridge, Harold McCloud & wife Patty of Rutledge, Everett McCloud & wife Renae of Jacksboro, Gregory McCloud and wife Debra of Jacksboro, and Robert Marshall McCloud of Jefferson City; daughter Debra Ballew and husband Jimmy of LaFollette; brother Leonard Belcher of Florida; sisters Louise Crites of Florida, Mary Hasley & husband Bob of Ohio, Kizzie Browning & husband Benny of West Virginia, Juanita Justice & husband Bob of Ohio, and Helen McCloud & husband Curtis of Ohio; and 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 in the Martin Wilson chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 2nd, 2014 in the Martin Wilson chapel with Rev. Kenny Gillum officiating. Interment will follow the service at Powell Valley Cemetery.
