Victoria Lane

Victoria Dossett Jacobsen Lane, age 94, of Knoxville was born into eternity Thursday, June 16, 2011.

Victoria was born  to Thomas David Dossett and Minnie Allen Dossett on August 30, 1916 in Jacksboro, TN. She was preceded in death by her husbands Edward N.
Jacobsen and Frank Lane; her parents and brothers Burgin, Otto, Henry, Jeff, Bill, Walter, and Huston (Pete) Dossett and sisters Hattie Mills, Retha Allen, Anna Davis and Mary Lee Williams.

She is survived by brother Frank Dossett (Betty) and sisters Addie Dodd, Nannie Greene (Harold), Eleanor Northcutt: and a special niece, Karen Jacobsen Putt (Kenneth) as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Victoria was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Orlando, Florida where she resided for 47 years prior to relocating to Knoxville, TN. Her great love was working with the boys and girls at the Orlando Edgewood Children's Ranch. Prior to living in Orlando she was a resident of Yonkers, New York.

Funeral Services will be held at 3pm Sunday June 19, 2011 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Jacksboro, TN. Interment will follow. Pastor Jim Mullins will officiate.

In lieu of flowers Victoria requested that memorials be made to Edgewood Children's Ranch, 1451 Edgewood Ranch Road, Orlando, FL 32835.
