Vida Kelly

Vida Lovely Kelly age 84 of 546 Pinecrest Rd., Jacksboro, passed away early Saturday morning March 6, 2010 at the Summitt View Nursing Home, Lake City. Vida was a member of Cumberland View Baptist Church. She had worked and retired from the Department of Energy in Oak Ridge after several years of service. She loved gardening, flowers, helping her neighbors and friends, giving money and working for several charity organizations.

Preceded in death by Husband: Ira J. Kelly. Parents: George W. and Chloe Miller Lovely. Brother: JH Lovely. Nephew: Mark "Tiny" Lovely.

Survived by Sister: Georgia Mae Mowell of Lake City. Niece: Lisa Rolston and Husband Charlie of Jacksboro. Great Nieces: Christy Karoffa and Husband Alex of Canton, Ga. Angie Barber and Husband James of Woodstock, Ga. Great nephew: Scott Casey. Great Great Nephews: Jamie and Jordan Barber and Alston Babb. Great Great Nieces: Paige Edwards and Alysha Babb. Sister in law: Opal Lovely of Jacksboro. Special friend: Wilma McCammon. and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Monday, March 08, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson and Rev. Ron Williams officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Tuesday in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday night before funeral service.
