Viola Elizabeth Riggs

Viola Elizabeth Brooks Riggs, age 90, of Jacksboro passed away on Friday September 20, 2013. She was a member of Lake View Baptist Church. Mrs. Riggs loved spending time with those she loved, listening to gospel and country/bluegrass music and shopping. She loved clothes and bargains, entertaining her friends and traveling.

Preceded in death by husband, Joe Riggs, son, Larry Stanley Riggs, parents, Ernest and Luraina Campbell Brooks, sisters, Margaret, Gracie, and Pauline Muse and Edna Brooks Bailey.

Survived by son, Jeffery Steven Riggs and wife Cindy of LaFollette, daughter, JoAnn Riggs Grover and husband Darby of Jacksonville, Fl, sister, Linda Carroll Elkton of Maryland, grandchildren Chad Riggs and wife Melissa of Knoxville and Jonathan Riggs of Cookville, great grandchildren Abigail and Brady Riggs, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Sunday, September 22, 2013 in Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Dr. T D Hooker and Chad Riggs officiating. Interment will be 11 AM on Monday, September 23, 2013 in Woodlawn Cemetery.
