Virgil Morgan

Virgil Morgan age 71 of Speedwell passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell Co. He was a member of Carr's Chapel. Mr. Morgan was a veteran of the Navy and was a mason. He enjoyed woodwork, playing poker, and boating on the lake.

Preceded in death by Parents: Marvin and Mary Morgan. Brother: Russell Morgan. Sister: Reba Norman. Special Friend and Brother in Law: George Lee Teague.

Survived by Wife: Tena Morgan. Sons: Jeff Morgan and Wife: Brenda of Jacksboro and Mike Morgan of LaFollette. Daughters: Lauren Morgan of Speedwell, Rhonda Liesten of SC., Lisa McGowen of Jacksboro. 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Brothers: Charles Morgan and Leroy Morgan both of LaFollette. Sisters: Lola Teague, Etta Sammons, and Anna Berry all of LaFollette. Several other Relatives and Friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Saturday, December 19 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment will be 2 PM Sunday in Carr's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service.
