Virginia Lee (Wilburn) Bolton

Virginia Lee Wilburn Bolton, age 75 of Clinton, TN went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2024. Virginia was born on February 24, 1949 in LaFollette, TN to the late Christine Branam Wilburn and Delmas Wilburn.

Virginia was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed thrifting, watching the Lady Vols, singing karaoke, bird watching, and flower gardening. She found beauty and peace in nature. Virginia was also a talented craftsperson who especially enjoyed making thoughtful hand-made gifts for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by siblings, Barbara Wilburn Lechner and Kenneth Wilburn.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her children; Bruce (Deloris) Petree, Cathrine (Paul) Conrad, and Tina Shewbrooks; grandchildren, Brittany (Austin) Brummite, Christopher Petree, Ashlyn Daugherty, and Kenna Shewbrooks; great grandchild, Ellen Brummite; sisters, Freda Adkins and Lynette (Dewayne) Amos; brother, Timmon Wilburn; cherished friends, the Richardson family, Ella Minton, and Jenny Chadwell, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 5, 2024 from 4 PM to 6 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 6 PM with Rev. Thomas Adkins and Bro. Jeff Moser officiating. The family will meet on Friday December 6, 2024 at 10:15 AM at the funeral home to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for an 11 AM interment.

In lieu of flowers, you may choose to donate to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500 Chicago, IL 60611 in Virginia's honor.
