Walter Bolton

Walter Lee Bolton, age 75 of Lafollette passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family. Walter was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver.

Preceded in death by Parents: Monroe and Charles Elizabeth Bolton. Brothers: Sonney, Dennis and Donnie Bolton. Wife: Artella Bolton. Stepdaughter: Betsy Wilson. Step grandson: Clayton Pierce. Brother in Law: Jim Spradlin.

Survived by Special Caregiver and Mother of his Children: Edna LeMarr Bolton of Lafollette. Sons and Daughters in Law: Roger and Sue Bolton of Jacksboro. Jack and Toska Bolton of Lafollette. Daughter and Son in Law: Carolyn and Humphrey Todd of Jacksboro. Step Children: Jerry and Betty Wilson of Lafollette, Verlin and Angie Wilson of Knoxville and Anna Lou Ely of Georgia. 14 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren. Brother and Sister in Law: Bill and Judy Bolton of Cleveland, TN. Sisters: Louise Spradlin of Jacksboro, Martha Ann Stalbaum of Indiana, Deloris and Verlin Tidwell of Powell. Sisters in Law: Judy and Irene Bolton. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Leroy Braden and Rev. Kyle McDowell officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Monday in Bakers Forge Cemetery with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Sunday night before funeral service.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Campbell County Cancer Association or the Lafollette Rescue Squad.
