Walter Wilson

Walter Wilson, age 91 of Lafollette passed away Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Mercy Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a deacon and member of Duff Baptist Church. Walter was a great lover of crossword puzzles and his family was his life. He was a veteran of World War II and he retired from TVA Forestry Division.

Preceded in death by Parents: William and Elizabeth Parrott Wilson.

Survived by his Loving and Devoted Wife of 63 years: Mary Wilson of Lafollette. Daughters and Son in Law: Abbie and William Person and Cherry Williamson all of Knoxville. Grandson: Ty Person of Knoxville. Brothers: Harold and James Wilson of Lafollette. Sisters: Grace Bunch of Sidney, Ohio and Barbara and Lois of Lafollette. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Don Allen officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Thursday in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday night before funeral service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Duff Baptist Church, 2960 S. Hwy 25, Lafollette, TN.
