Wayne Coker

Wayne C. Coker age 65 of LaFollette died Wednesday May 13 at St. Mary's of Campbell County.

He was of the Baptist faith. Mr Coker was a loving husband of 30 years, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that enjoyed his family very much. He loved to landscape or anything to do with the outdoors. Wayne was one of the best storytellers you will ever meet. He never met a stranger, everyone he met became his friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Coker and Gilda Cook Coker; a son Tony Wayne Coker; a brother JC Coker.

Survivors include his wife Patricia "Patty" Coker of LaFollette; son Brandon Wayne (Rachel) Coker of Idaho; daughters Kathy Coker, Mary Hicks and Christy Watkins all of LaFollette; and a special friend George Marshall; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday May 15 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
