Willard T Lasley

Willard T. Lasley age 85 of Caryville passed away Friday, December 19, 2008 at Summitt View Nursing Home in Lake City.  He was a member of Lake View Baptist Church.  Mr. Lasley loved to play and sing blue grass music, fishing, gardening, flowers and his family was his life.

Preceded in death by Wife: Virginia Alderman Lasley. Son: Sonny Lasley.  Grandsons: Timothy Petree and Drew Lasley.  Parents;  Sherman and Dora Cooper Lasley.  Brothers; Frank, Clifford, Ray and Marshall Lasley. Sisters: Francis Lasley and Thelma Chitwood.  Sons in Law: Jim Daugherty and Glen Petree.

Survived by Wife: Vivian Stout Lasley.  Sons: Kyle Lasley and wife Vera of LaFollette, Ronnie Lasley and wife Sherry of Caryville.  Daughters: Janet Daugherty, Jane Petree, Sue Nelson and husband Larry all of Caryville. Brothers: Herman Lasley of Chattanooga and Charles Lasley of Vandalia, Ohio.  15 Grandchildren,  36 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relative and friends.

Funeral service will 8 PM Monday December 22 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Luke Petree and Bro. Randy Nelson officiating.  Interment 11 AM Tuesday December 23 at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Miltary Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 5 til 8 before funeral service.
