William J Anderson

Retired SFC William J. "Bill" Anderson age 65 of Lafollette went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 9, 2010. He was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church and was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Bill proudly served his country and state as a recruiter for the TN Army National Guard for over two decades for which he received many awards and commendations. Upon retirement from the military he continued his career of service with the Campbell Co. Sheriff's Department.

Preceded in death by Parents: Jacob Ross and Nila Turner Anderson. Brother: Sherman Thomas Anderson. Sisters: Nancy Anne Anderson and Goldie Ruth Pebley.

Survived by Wife: Robin Anderson of Lafollette. Son: Charles Ross Anderson of Chattanooga, TN. Daughters: Kristie Nicole Anderson, Jamie Bolton and Jessica Bowlin all of Lafollette. Grandchildren: Jaxon Bolton and Abigail Riley Anderson. Twin Brother: Jesse Willard Anderson and Wife: Yvonne of Arkansas. Sister: Ida Faye Anderson of Lafollette.

Funeral Service will be 1 PM Thursday, October 14 at Grace Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Henegar officiating. Interment will follow in Powell Valley Cemetery with the Campbell Co. Honor Guard in charge of graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Wednesday night in Martin Wilson Chapel with Masonic Service to follow.
