William "Bill" Henry Anderson

William Henry "Bill" Anderson, age 76 of Jacksboro, went home to be with Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 20, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born February 25, 1944 in Campbell County to the late Millard and Gracie (Rutherford) Anderson. He was a member of Cumberland View Baptist Church and a retired coal miner. Bill enjoyed working on cars, going to the mountains, and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He also loved drinking coffee and Little Debbie cakes.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, D.T. and Lonis Anderson, and (infant brother) Charles Edward Anderson; sisters, Lillie Mae Dulin and Ola Jean Lane.

Bill is survived by the love of his life of 50 years, Rachel (Hollifield) Anderson; son, Billy Anderson and wife, Adina of Jacksboro; daughter, Elaine Atterson and husband, John of Clinton; granddaughters, Whitney and Kendra Anderson; grandsons, Tyler and Nicklas Atterson; brothers, Frank Anderson of Etowah, J.D. Anderson of Jacksboro, Odell Anderson and wife, June of Texas, Ernest Anderson and wife, Eva of Jacksboro, A.L. Anderson and wife, Angie of Texas; sisters, Betty Lokey and husband, Jim of Texas and Imogene Gibson and husband, Doug of Jacksboro; several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 25th, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with his funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Hollifield Cemetery in Jacksboro.
