William Gary Rogers

William "Gary" Rogers, age 71 passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Gary enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and his cat, Rosie.  Gary was retired from AT&T, and he was an Army Vietnam Veteran.

He is preceded in death by wife Wanda Rogers; parents William Russell and Jewel (Chapman) Rogers.

He is survived by sons Mark Rogers and wife Lori of Lynchburg, VA., and Chris Rogers and wife Felicia of Caryville, TN.; grandchildren Connor, William, Elaina, Katherine, and Emily; sister Carolyn Clark and husband John of Claxton; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 8 PM with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson officiating.  Friends and family will meet 1:30 PM Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 2 PM interment in Campbell Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in the name of Gary and Wanda Rogers.
