William Leo Green

William Leo Green passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. He was born on February 5, 1939. He was a very loving husband of 51 years, father, and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, loved working in his yard and garden, and watching his favorite sports.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Everett and Vina Potter Green, wife Mary Sue Green, and brothers James Green and Charles "Pete" Green.

He is survived by his son William E. Green and wife Nancy of Michigan, brother Ottis Green and wife Vivian of Michigan, and grandchildren Michelle Green and David Green and fiancé Hannah Church all of Michigan.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Wilson chapel with Rev Ken Weaver officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Powell Valley Cemetery with the Campbell County Honor Guard presenting military honors. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Martin Wilson chapel. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
