William Thomas Phillips

William Thomas Phillips, age 83, of Lafollette passed away on Monday June 24, 2013 at the Lafollette Medical Center. William was a loving and devoted husband of 55 years, father and grandfather and great grandfather that loved to walk or drive in the outdoors, and he also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his son Randall Phillips, Parents Luther and Ethel Madison Phillips and Brother Ralph Phillips. Grandchildren Savannah Phillips, Troy Phillips and William Thomas Phillips.

Survived by wife Hilda Riggs Phillips of Lafollette. Sons Kendell and wife Susie of Cincinnati, OH, Wendell Phillips, Mandell Phillips, Daniel and wife Frankie Phillips, Mendell and wife Julia Phillips and Ronald and wife Nicole Phillips all of Lafollette. Daughter Marilyn Williams and husband David of Lafollette. Brothers Ray Phillips of Florida and Raymond Phillips of Caryville. Sisters Pauline Mills, Mary Lou Martin and Sue Ann Lindsay all of Jacksboro, Zora Lou Randolph and Wanda Jean Sizemore both of Caryville. 19 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 8 PM Friday June 28, 2013 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM before funeral service. Interment will be 11 AM Saturday June 29, 2013 in Sunrise cemetery with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside service.
