Willie Cecil Davis

Willie Cecil Davis, born March 6, 1947 went home to be with the Lord and family on August 20, 2017 at U.T. Medical Center.  Willie was an avid fisherman, he especially loved fishing with Little Sis Rosetta.  He also loved playing with his dog "Braveheart" and working around his home.

He is preceded in death by parents William and Vestie Davis; brothers Lex, Louis, and James Davis; sisters Alma Teague, Betty Hoskinds, and Linda Markwell.

He is survived by daughters Michelle, Christy, and Kim of Dayton, Ohio; brothers Jerry (Gary) Davis of LaFollette, John (Buster) Davis of Dayton, Ohio; sisters Rosetta Davis, Cathy Johnson, Thelma Davis, Phyllis Hamblin, all of LaFollette, & Bertie Triplett of Dayton, Ohio; close nieces and nephews: Angela Bray, Victoria Wilson, Caitlynn Wilson, Missie Bolton, Jackie Clouse, Brianna Clouse, Karleigh Clouse & Brady Clouse; a large host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation for Willie will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; funeral service to follow at 8 PM with Karleigh Clouse reading the obituary and Rev. Tim Moore officiating.   Friends and family will meet 11 AM Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the 12 PM interment in Lambdin cemetery.
