Wilma Jean Adkins

Wilma Jean Adkins, age 79 of Lafollette passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009 in Rutledge, TN. She loved her grandkids and loved to fish.

Preceded in death by Son: Roy Yancey. Parents: James and Ida Ward Carroll; husbands Arnold Chavis and Richard Adkins.

Survived by Sons: Maynard, Bill and Scotty Adkins of Lafollette. Jerry Chavis of Lafollette. Bobby Chavis of Jacksboro. Jimmy Chavis of Knoxville. Daughters: Gertrude Williams and Jackie Bryant of Rutledge, TN. Sue Richardson of Harrodsburg, KY. 32 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Dale Baker officiating. Interment will be 1 PM Wednesday in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
