Winona Davis Chapman

Winona Davis Chapman, age 95, of Jacksboro passed away Friday September 27, 2013. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church, but later attended Indiana Avenue and Hillcrest, last regular attendance was at Elk Valley First Baptist Church. A farm wife of many years and retired from Imperial Reading, she loved cooking,caring for animals, sewing and quilting were her favorite hobbies.

Preceded in death by husband, Harry Chapman, parents, Aaron and Florence Davis, son, Bobby Chapman, daughter, Mary Anna Martin, brothers, Albert, Dave, Bill. Lee, Marion and Clyde Davis, sisters, Ruby Miller and Blanche Presley.

Survived by sons, Earl and wife Bobbie Jean Chapman of Jacksboro Ralph and wife Patricia Chapman of Vancouver, Wa. 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday September 30, 2013 in Martin Wilson Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 8pm with Rev, Hobert McCreary and Rev. Roger Stanley officiating. Interment will be 11 am Tuesday October 1, 2013 in Campbell Memorial Gardens.
