Betsy "Betty" M. (Kennedy) Hollifield

Betsy “Betty” M. Hollifield, age 79, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021.  She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed yard work, gardening, her dogs, her cat, and working at “Golden Girls” restaurant.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Everette Hollifield; parents, Lonzo and Sally Kennedy; sons, William Alfred Hollifield, Danny Ray Hollifield, and Randy Hollifield.

She is survived by daughter, Brenda Sue West and husband Dennis of Caryville; brothers, Johnny and Lonnie Kennedy; sister, Edith Dean Ward of Caryville, grandson Michael Lee Hollifield and wife Mary of Jacksboro, great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Lee Hollifield of Detroit, MI., Renee Elizabeth Oaks of LaFollette, Mackenzie Leigh Lloyd of Jacksboro, great great-grandchildren, Anthony Webber and William Oaks, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Thomas Adkins officiating. Burial will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10 AM at Cumberland View Cemetery.
