Billy Don Smiddy Sr.

Billy Don Smiddy Sr. age 69, of LaFollette, departed this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He was born on August 17, 1951 to the late Henry Smiddy and Bonnie (Walden) Smiddy, He was a loving husband of 48 years, and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family at the racetrack, where they spend a lot of their time together.

In addition to his parents Bill is preceded in death by his brother Randy Smiddy.

He is survived by his loving wife Ann Sampley Smiddy of LaFollette; son Billy Smiddy Jr. and wife Kim of LaFollette; daughter Christie Smiddy and fiancé Mike Casebolt of Powell; brother Jim Smiddy and wife Gail of LaFollette, Johnny Smiddy and wife Judy of Knoxville, and Danny Smiddy and wife Ellen of Pennsylvania; sisters Brenda McNeeley of South Carolina, Linda Wright and husband Harold of LaFollette, and Ann Hensley of LaFollette; grandchildren Billy Jean, Jeremy, and Mason Smiddy, Christen Van Etten, Jordyn Amburgey, Michael White, and Mikayla White; great-grandchildren Branson Smiddy, Binzleigh Smiddy, and Hazel White.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

The family has entrusted the care of Billy Don Smiddy Sr. to Martin Wilson Funeral Home “Where Families Matter Most.”
