Carolyn Jean Loope

Carolyn Jean Loope, age 72 of LaFollette, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. She was born on October 30, 1949 to the late Charles and Bessie (Collins) Ferguson. She enjoyed the mountains, driving through Cades Cove, and going to the fair to see the concerts.

In addition to her to parents, she is preceded in death by her husband David Leon Loope and daughter Kathy Renee Hyde.

She is survived by her daughters Elsie DeLong of LaFollette, Crystal LeAnn Davis of Knoxville, and Katie Elizabeth Loope of LaFollette; grandchildren Marshall Hyde, Christopher Welch, and Allayna Welch: and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a Memorial service to follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Bo Freeman officiating.
