Diana Sue Proffitt

Diana Sue Proffitt, age 70 of LaFollette, departed this life on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born May 24, 1951 in LaFollette to the late O.D. and Martha (Leach) Wilson. Diana loved spending time with her grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Leach.

Diana is survived by her husband of 52 years, Buford Proffitt of LaFollette; son, Jeff Proffitt of LaFollette; grandchildren, Tyler, Samuel and Maggie; sisters, Margaret Wells, Shirley Wilson and husband, Jerry all of LaFollette. Several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 PM with a graveside service to follow at Bakers Forge Cemetery with Bro. Paul Sweat officiating.
