Elmer Tee "Buddy" Davis

Elmer Tee “Buddy” Davis, age 85 of LaFollette departed this life Tuesday, May 5, 2020.  He was a loving husband of 66 years, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.   Buddy was an avid Braves fan and loved to watch baseball on TV.

He is preceded in death by parents, Willie and Maggie (Vanover) Davis; brothers, Elbert Davis and Eckel Davis; sister Lillie Parker.

He is survived by wife, Nancy (Chadwell) Davis of LaFollette; son, Elmer Lee Davis, Jr. of Loudon, TN.; daughters, Vanessa Skelley & husband Ron of LaFollette, Teresa Ann Novak & husband Ronald of Grand Rapids, MI.; sisters, Nan Ellen Lambdin of Pioneer, TN., half-sister, Rosie Williams of Ohio; grandchildren, Brandi Skelley, Nathaniel Novak, Danielle Skelley; great grandchildren, Brandon and Jayden Wright, Sybil Kidwell, Gavin and Asher Novak.

Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, family and friends may stop by Martin Wilson Funeral Home at their convenience to view Elmer and sign his guestbook from 10 AM – 11 AM Thursday, May 7th.  The family will have a graveside service at 11 AM Thursday, May 7th in Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Anthony Leach officiating.
