Frankie Terry Boshears accepted her heavenly reward on November 5, 2023 at the age of 94. She was born on March 9, 1929 in Caryville, Tennessee to the late Leatha and Melton Terry. She met her husband Hugh after his time in the Army and attended Jacksboro High School. She ran her own little grocery store in the neighborhood for 10 years. Everyone came for lunch to eat her great sandwiches.
Frankie was a faithful Christian who loved singing in a trio with her late sister-in-law, Virginia Boshears, and her late friend, Betty Fowler Padgett. She was a member of Woodlake Baptist Church. Attending church was a favorite duty until her health began to decline.
In addition to her parents, Frankie was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Boshears; stepfather, Robert Brown; sisters, Dora Massengill and husband Claude, Sylvia Raines and husband Ernest, Flora Raines and husband Ralph; brothers, Leonard Terry and wife Della, Luther Terry and wife Thelma; and son-in-law, Wayne Tidwell.
Left to carry on her memory are her children; daughters, Pat Tidwell, Carolyn Cervone and husband David; sons, Don Boshears and wife Gail, Garvon Boshears; grandchildren, Melissa Perkins and husband Bo, Michael Boshears, Christopher Tidwell and wife Christy, Scott Cervone and wife Alexa, Michael Cervone and wife Amanda, Cindi Carlson and husband Michael, Kelli Lowe and husband Chad, Lyndsey Stout, Allison Boshears, and Lauren Bowan. 18 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 8, 2023 from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. George Asbury officiating. The family will meet at the funeral home on Thursday November 9, 2023 at 10:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Mount Paran Cemetery for a 11AM interment.
