Hilda Jean (Riggs) Phillips
Obituary
Hilda Jean Riggs Phillips, age 86 of LaFollette, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was born on September 10, 1935 to the late Shirley and Virgie( Reese) Riggs. Hilda attended Wynn Community Church. She enjoyed going out to eat, sweet tea, and going to Wal-Mart.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband William T. Phillips; sons Randall Phillips and Daniel Phillips; and sisters Alma Riggs, Louola Snyder, Margaret Shown, and Uretha Matlock.
She is survived by her sons Kendell Phillips and Susie of Ohio, Wendell Phillips, Mandell Phillips, Mendell Phillips and Julia, and Ronald Phillips all of LaFollette; daughter Marilyn Williams and David of LaFollette; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. James Adkins officiating. Interment will follow funeral service at Sunrise Cemetery.
