James Howard Brown

James Howard Brown, age 72 of Speedwell, departed this life on Thursday, March 18, 2021. He was born on September 22, 1948 to the late Chester Brown and Viola “Thomas” Brown. He was a loving husband of 32 years, father, and grandfather. James enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, mowing the yard, and anything to do with being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Walt and Charles Brown; sisters Annie Lou Brown, Bernice Moore, Mildred Brown, and Ruthie Paul.

He is survived by his loving wife Gladys Brown of Speedwell; daughters Belinda McCullah and husband Terry of LaFollette and Jamie Cox and fiancé Tim Jones of LaFollette; brother Chester Brown of LaFollette; sister Jerrie Johnson; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

At Mr. Browns request no services are planned at this time.
