James Edward Ladd

James Edward Ladd, age 79 of LaFollette, departed this life on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at LaFollette Medical Center. He was born on September 4, 1941, to the late William C. Ladd and Hazel “Cantrell” Ladd. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything to do with the outdoors, but most of his enjoyment was playing music with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Allan Ladd and sisters Billie Jean Schroll and Midge Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Young Ladd of LaFollette; sons James Ladd Jr. and wife Lisa of Jacksboro and Wayne Ladd of LaFollette; daughter Hazel Tschirner and husband Craige of Dayton; brothers Junior Ladd and wife, Dottie of Ohio and Joe Ladd and wife Candy of Ohio; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service from 6:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. George Asbury officiating.
