Jason DeWayne Cowans

Jason DeWayne Cowans, age 42 of LaFollette, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was born on November 20, 1980. Jason loved to fish, collect hats, playing video games, going to Dollywood, the beach, drinking Mountain Dew, and watching the fireworks on the 4th of July.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rosie Lovett, Earl Cowans, and Ruby White.

Jason is survived by his parents Paul and Barbara Cowans; grandmother Barbara Joe Cowans; nephew Logan Osborne; nieces Kaitlyn, Bethany and Kylee Osborne, and Annabell Cowans; brothers Paul Cowans and wife Tiffany; sister Vanessa Turner and husband Dan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 6, 2023 from 12 PM to 1 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.  Funeral service to follow at 1 PM with Bro. Randy Mikesell officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Peabody Cemetery.  Feel free to wear your favorite ball cap in honor of Jason.
