Jeff Whitaker

Jeff Whitaker, age 54 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 26, 2020.  He was a loving friend for 12 years, a loving husband for 21 years, with a total life together over 33 years. He was also a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Jeff enjoyed playing basketball, spending time outdoors, on the lake, boating and fishing.

He is preceded in death by mother, Jacqulyn Carol Whitaker.

He is survived by wife, Rose (Missy Carroll) Whitaker, father and stepmother, Emmitt and Faith Whitaker; son, Jeffrey Brandon Whitaker & wife Cena and Jeffrey’s mother, Valerie Joseph of Kentucky; brother, Todd Whitaker & wife Linda of Jacksboro; sisters, Denise Mitchell of Kentucky, Leona Key & husband Terry of Powell, TN, and his twin sister, Jettie Begley of Kentucky; grandchildren, Chelsea and Austin Stacey; special nieces and nephews, Shane and Shauna Rector, Joe Whitaker and Stacey Byrd, Brooke Jones, Kaitlyn Begley, Jason and Bethany Watts, Eric, Austin, and Alexis North, Cassidy and Luke Carroll, and Russell Byrd; a host of friends and relatives.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, friends may stop by at their convenience at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to view Jeff and sign his guestbook from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM Friday, May 1, 2020.  The family will have a graveside service at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Bakers Forge Cemetery in Lafollette with Pastor Jeff Evans and Pastor Ronnie Arnold officiating.
