Jimmie (Lucille) Powers

Lucille Powers, age 93 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Cumberland Village. She was born on August 28, 1928 to the late Laura (Ballard) Cox and Mitt Cox. She attended Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Edward Powers and son Don Powers.

She is survived by her son Eddie Powers and wife Nona of LaFollette; daughter Linda Wallace and husband Frank of Jacksboro; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-1:30 PM on Sunday, April 10, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Friends and family will go in funeral procession to Jacksboro Cemetery for a 2:00 PM graveside service with Rev. Sampson Ridenour and Rev. Ronnie Freeman officiating.
