JoAnn Goins

JoAnn Goins, age 66 of Jacksboro, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at her home. She was born on July 17, 1956 to the late Henderson Garnet Wilson and Stella Mae (Hubbard) Wilson.  JoAnn was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed dirt racing, going to the beach, flower gardens, listening to music, especially her grandson playing the guitar, shopping, and spending time with her grandkids and great grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Cecil Clifton Goins; brother Earl Garnet Wilson and nephew Earl Scott Wilson. 

She is survived by her daughters Scarlet Goins of LaFollette, Charlotte Paul and husband Shannon of LaFollette, Ami Goins of Jacksboro, and Misti Goins of Jacksboro; brother Jerry Wilson and wife Shirley of LaFollette, grandsons Garnett Hicks, Bradley Hicks, Brenten Paul, and Adrian Paul; great grandchildren Ethan, Landree Jo, Parker, Ethan, Mason, and Sarah; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, April 17, 2023 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bo Freeman officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Baker’s Forge Cemetery for an 10:00 AM interment.
