Kathleen (Kirby) Richardson

Kathleen (Kirby) Richardson, age 72, was born February 20, 1947 to the late Eston and Mertie Bell Kirby.  She was a member of West LaFollette Baptist Church.  Kathleen spent much of her life dedicated to the care of multitude of children who loved her, and she loved dearly.  As was well stated by Preston Provins, “Kat was the Grandma she did not have to be.”  Kathleen touched the lives of many families in more way’s words could express.  She is at peace now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her beloved family that has gone before her.  Remember her with love and kindness because she loved you all.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Ralph Richardson; son Timothy Scott Richardson; brother George Kirby; and sister Pat Jessie.

She is survived by son, Perry Lee Richardson and wife Michelle.  Grandsons: Derick Richardson, Cody Richardson, Jamie Richardson and his wife Kimber, Timothy Richardson and his wife Amanda, Christopher Scot Richardson and wife Bethany, and sister Fay Hall, great grandchildren Emma Grace, Morgan, Landon, Ryder, Coalson, Sawyer, Anna, Lydia, and Evelyn Richardson.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be 4-7 PM Friday, December 6, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Sampson Ridenour and Rusty Provins officiating.  Friends and family will meet 10:15 AM Saturday, December 7th at Martin Wilson Funeral Home in go procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11 AM interment.
