Obituary
Lillie “Frances” Loy, age 85 of LaFollette, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, August 28, 2023 at her home. She was born on December 24, 1937, to the late Obie Braden and Satre “Robison” Braden. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister that enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved decorating and making custom draperies and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Benny Loy; brother Odie Braden; sister Ruby Thomason; and grandsons Reid Longmire and Mark Longmire.
Frances is survived by her son Mitchell Loy of LaFollette; daughter Scarlett Loy of LaFollette; sisters Imogene Graves of Speedwell, Bonnie McGhee of LaFollette, Wanda Sharp of LaFollette, and Brenda Braden of LaFollette; grandchildren Jessica Phillips and husband Garry, and Jasper Blaine Loy; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will have a visitation from 6:00-7:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with a celebration of life service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Ralph Combs officiating.
