Michael Lee Johnson

Michael Lee Johnson, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was a loving husband of 50 years, father, brother, and uncle that enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved fishing and hunting.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, R.M. and Coleen Campbell Johnson; and brother Francis Johnson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Johnson; son, Roy Johnson; brothers, Monroe and wife Sheila of Jacksboro, Charles and wife Leslie of Jacksboro, RL and wife Sharon of LaFollette, Raymond and wife Kathy of Jacksboro, and Larry and wife Missy of Jacksboro; sisters, Cordellia Johnson of Jacksboro, Elizabeth Ayers of Jacksboro, Geraldean Lawson and Robert of LaFollette, Wilma Swafford and husband Tommy of Jacksboro, and Rose Blevins of Jacksboro.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 24, 2022, from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral Service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Ronnie Poston officiating. The family will meet at 10 AM Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 10 AM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for a 11 AM interment.

The family would like for anyone visiting to please wear a mask.
