Mildred Joann (McAfee) Willocks

Mildred Joann McAfee Felty Willocks, better known as Aunt Granny, age 79, took her final walk from this life into the next holding the hand of Jesus on January 13, 2023 at Cumberland Village nursing home in LaFollette, TN. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Maryville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her family.

She was welcomed into her eternal home by Jesus and her husband, W. Bruce Willocks; daughters, infant Sherry Melinda Felty and Melissa “Lissa” Joann Goodman; sons, Richard “Ricky” Wayne Felty and Stanley Dale Felty.

She awaits her granddaughters, Allison Harris and Jolynn Felty and grandsons, Dustin Hawkins, Blaine Felty and Dion Felty.  She is also waiting for the arrival of her sisters, Barbara McClane and Ruby Ogle and sister-in-love, Bernice McAfee. She is welcomed into her eternal home by parents, William Andrew and Mamie Edna McAfee; brothers, William Andrew (Bill) McAfee Jr., James (Jim) McAfee and Charles (Barbara McAfee; sisters, Lucille (John) Clampet, Juanita (Lloyd) Chapman, Rosa Lea (Bill) Brannon, infant, Dorothy Mae McAfee, Ruth (Lester) Myers-Smith,  infant Helen Imogene McAfee, Fay (Bob) Felty.

Family and friends will celebrate Joann’s life on Saturday January 28, 2023 at 2 PM at Salem Baptist Church at 4602 Salem Road Greenback, TN with Rev. Mike Arp officiating.

The family has entrusted the care of Mildred Joann McAfee Felty Willocks to Martin Wilson Funeral Home “Where Families Matter Most.”
