Nancy Lee Davis

Nancy Lee Davis, age 85 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 29, 2022.  She was born on July 27, 1937 to the late James and Leola (Parker) Chadwell. She was a member of Valley Fellowship Church of God where she was on the Lady’s Willing Workers, where she helped with anything and everything she could. She also enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening flowers, and especially all of her babies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Elmer T. Davis, granddaughter Vanessa Danielle Skelley; brothers Phillip and George Chadwell; and sisters Rosie Chadwell and Mary Moore.

She is survived by her son; Elmer Lee Davis of Loudon; daughters Vanessa Skelley of LaFollette and Teresa Novak and husband Ronald of Michigan; brother James Chadwell of Ohio; sisters Jolene Coyt and Willene Hicks of Jellico; grandchildren Brandi Skelley and Nathaniel Novak; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. 

A visitation will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 11:00-12:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. Anthony Leach officiating. Interment to follow the funeral service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
