Paul Goodman

Paul Lawrence Goodman, age 79 of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord Thursday, August 2, 2018.  He was of the Baptist faith and a faithful member of Vasper Baptist Church.  Paul was a loving husband of 60 years, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Zora (Daugherty) Goodman; brother Archie Goodman; sisters Pauline Shown, Irene Goodman, and Carrie Daugherty.

He is survived by wife Dena Goodman of Jacksboro; daughter Debbie Edmondson & husband Jim of Caryville; brother Harold Goodman & wife Mildred of Vasper; sister Violet Terrell & husband Bob of Bowling Green, Kentucky; grandchildren Sherry Clower & husband Chance of Knoxville, Donna Pointkowski & husband Eric of Knoxville; great grandchildren Lincoln Clower and Kaydence Clower; a host of friends and relatives. 

Visitation for Paul will be 5-7 PM Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. David Seals and Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson.  Friends and family will meet 10 AM Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Cumberland View cemetery.
