Randall Murphy Obituary

Randall Paul Murphy, age 61, of Jacksboro, departed this life on Wednesday June 9, 2021. He was a loving husband of 40 years, father, grandfather, great grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family, spending time on the lake, and swimming with his dog, Smokey.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Murphy and Christine Sutton; brother, Mitchell Murphy; and sister, Vicky Boshears.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothea Murphy; sons, Randall Charles Murphy and fiancé Danielle, Mitchell Ray Murphy, both of Indiana; daughters, Tina Goodman and husband Chris of Jacksboro, Heather Heatherly and husband Jackie of Jacksboro; brothers, Mack Murphy and wife Mary of Clinton, Johnny Murphy of Clinton, Jay Herron of Caryville, A.D. Herron and wife Sharon of Caryville; grandchildren, Sierra Murphy, Cameron Murphy, and Miley Busch; great grandchild, Octavia Smith.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Sunday June 13, 2021, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday June 14, 2021 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 11 AM, the family will go in funeral procession to Queener Cemetery following the funeral service. 

The family has entrusted the care of Randall Murphy to Martin Wilson Funeral Home “Where Families Matter Most.”
