Robert Earl Tipton

Robert Earl Tipton, 78 passed away on January 8, 2021. He was born in Amory on June 23, 1942 to the late David Austin and Lela Anna Collins Tipton. Robert was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed gospel music, playing the guitar, wood working and metal detecting. He was a master at checkers and dominos, rarely ever losing a game. More than anything, he loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Tipton; daughters; Belinda Howell and Breanna Tipton; sons, Roby, Tracy and Matthew Tipton; grandchildren, Robbie Nicole, Ericka, Benjamin, Crystal, Jessica, Jeremy, and Kierston; great grands, Braden, Tristan, Alexa, Gage, Kinley, Payton, Fitz, Lydia and Skyla; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Mauveline, Katherine, Inez, Mary Evelyn, Dorothy Carolyn and Linda Dianne Tipton; brothers, Burtron, James Paul, Jack, Dan, Howard, Charles David and Jimmy Lee Tipton

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Bro. Gary Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Tipton, Gary Wayne Williams, Russell Helm, Jimmy Baugh and Mike Jones.

Visitation will be prior to the service on Monday from noon until 1 PM.
