Violet Gross

Violet Gross age 60, of Jacksboro, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 19, 2021.  She enjoyed watching TV Land, keeping the house and yard, drinking Mt. Dew, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Bennie Gross; infant son, Virgil Wayne Gross; parents Rubel and Martha Williams McCreary; brother, Howard McCreary; and sister, Linda Sue Kimble

She is survived by sons, James Anthony Gross and wife Megan and David Ray Gross of Jacksboro, brothers, Joe McCreary of Kentucky, George McCreary, Paul McCreary, and David McCreary all of Jacksboro; sister, Mary Bunch and husband Jay of Kentucky; granddaughters that she loved dearly, Kara Gross of LaFollette, Vanessa Gross, Amelia Gross, and Willa Gross all of Jacksboro.

Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home.  Funeral procession will follow visitation to Indian Creek Cemetery for a graveside service with Bro. Ray Watson officiating.
