Wilma Francis Edwards

Wilma Francis Edwards, age 85 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born on February 15, 1935 to the late Marshall Herman Douglas and Mossie (Hunley) Douglas. She is was a loving mother and friend to all she met, and she also never met a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and cooking. She also loved taking care of her dogs.

In addition to her parents Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, John E. "Sunny" Edwards; her son Larry Lynn Edwards; brothers John Berry Douglas, and Carl Edward Douglas; and sister Dorothy Witt.

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim Dupuy officiating. Interment will follow funeral service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
