Zelma Yvonne (Cox) Wilson

Zelma Yvonne Wilson, age 68 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2022. She was born on June 21, 1954 to the late J.E. and Lula Mae (Braden) Cox. Zelma was a loving wife of many years, that enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed attending church and listening to gospel music. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Bert Wilson; infant brother David Ray Cox; sister Margaret Marie Hale.

She is survived by her son Carl J. Rutherford and Leah Shaklee of Oak Ridge; daughter Lisa Mae Wilson and husband Eddie of Jacksboro; nephews Micheal Lynn Cox, Travis Allen Shears; grandchildren Logan Tyler Rutherford, Nathaniel Cole Rutherford, Paul Andrew Wilson, and Eddie Lee Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with President Cordell Petz and Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating. Family and friends will meet at Martin Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:15 AM to go in funeral procession to Cumberland View Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
