Jason Freeman

Jason Freeman

Owner and Licensed Funeral Director

Jason Freeman is the owner of Martin Wilson Funeral Home and has been a licensed funeral director in the state of Tennessee since 2007. He is married to Jessica (Barnes) Freeman and has four children, Lauren, Bentley, Maddox, and Tylee. Jason is the son of Rev. Ronnie (Bo) and Sandy (Goins) Freeman. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, going out to eat, University of Tennessee sports, coaching youth sports, and fishing. He is the coach of the Valley View Elementary Boys Basketball team. Jason and his family live in Speedwell.


Jessica Freeman

Owner/Licensed Funeral Director/Advance Planning Specialist

Jessica Freeman has been a lifelong resident of Campbell County. She is married to Jason and the mother of Lauren, Bentley, Maddox and Tylee. Jessica handles the business accounts for the funeral home. She is a licensed funeral director and pre-need sales agent. In her spare time, she loves shopping, four wheeling, attending her kid's games, and spending time with her family.

Lauren is the daughter of Jason and Jessica. She is very loving and sassy. Lauren loves to cheer and is very active in her school. 


Bentley Freeman

Bentley is the son of Jason and Jessica. He loves playing baseball, basketball, and football. He is the twin of Maddox. 


Maddox Freeman

Maddox is the son of Jason and Jessica. He loves playing baseball, basketball, and football. He is the twin of Bentley. 


Tylee Freeman

Tylee is the youngest child and daughter of Jason and Jessica. She is the most loving kid. She has to greet everyone that comes into the funeral home. Tylee loves bringing joy to people in their time of sorrow. She is the most spoiled out of the kids.


Claude E. Wilson

Claude E. Wilson

(In Loving Memory, May 13, 2021) Funeral Director

Claude Wilson has been a long-time resident of the Jacksboro-LaFollette area. He has been with Martin Wilson Funeral Home since 1962 and has been a licensed funeral director since 1964. Claude is married to the late Carol A. Wilson. He is the father of Danny Wilson and the late Steve and Kelly Wilson. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and keeping himself busy. Claude is a member of the LaFollette Masonic Lodge. He attends Cumberland View Baptist Church. Claude reunited with his wife, Carol on May 13, 2021. His legacy will forever be remembered


Cliff Baird

Licensed Funeral Director

Cliff Baird was born in Tennessee, but moved to Washington State when he was two and stayed there until he was the age of 23. He has lived in Campbell County for the last 30 years. He has been with Martin Wilson Funeral Home since 2006 and has been a licensed funeral director since 2008. Cliff’s family includes his wife, Robin (Chapman) Baird; and two sons, Johnny Mack Smiddy and Eric Baird. In his spare time, he enjoys riding four wheelers and fishing. Cliff is a member of the local Rotary International Club, and attends Stanfield Church of God in Stinking Creek, Tennessee.


Matt Schroeder

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Matt Schroeder has lived in Campbell County since 1995. He has been with Martin Wilson Funeral Home since 1998 and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2003. Matt’s family includes his wife, Kelly (Floyd) Schroeder; son, Ethan; and daughters, Braley & Kinsey. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also likes coaching his children in sports especially soccer.


Wendell Boshears

Licensed Funeral Director

Wendell Boshears is a life-long resident of Campbell County and has been with Martin Wilson Funeral Home since 2018. Wendell became a Licensed Funeral Director in January 2023. He is married to Heather (Farmer) Boshears and they have two sons, Owen and Max. Wendell and his family reside in Jacksboro and are members of East LaFollette Baptist Church, where he serves as a Deacon. In his spare time, Wendell loves watching UT sports, playing golf, and coaching youth sports. 


Gussie (Orick) Jones

Funeral Assistant

Gussie (Orick) Jones is a long-time resident of Campbell County/LaFollette, Tennessee. She has been with Martin Wilson Funeral Home since 1998. Gussie’s family includes her husband, Clifton “Tip” Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jeff Troutman; and two grandchildren, Sydney and Parker. In her spare time, she likes reading, shopping, and eating at Red Lobster. Gussie attends Indiana Avenue Baptist Church.


Sampson Ridenour

Funeral Assistant and Chaplain

Sampson Ridenour is a life-long resident of Campbell County. He is married to Amanda (Dupuy) Ridenour and they live in Jacksboro with their son, Maze. Sampson is the associate pastor of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church and has been with Martin Wilson Funeral Home since 2016, where he serves as a funeral assistant and Chaplain. In his free time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family.

Robin (Chapman) Baird has been with Martin Wilson Funeral Home since 2013. She is married to Cliff Baird and has two sons, Johnny Mack Smiddy and Eric Baird. Robin is also employed by Lafollette Court Assisted Living.  She attends Stanfield Church of God, where she enjoys working with the youth.
