Ruby Lee Lester, age 78, of Jacksboro passed away on Wednesday June 18, 2014. Mrs Lester was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, she was a great mother and grandmother, enjoyed working in her flowers, going to Church and loved her Sunday School group.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Lester, parents Henry and Minnie Lee Hatmaker Rutherford, grandson Andrew Michael Lees, brother Ted Rutherford.

She is survived by son Steven Lester of LaFollette, daughter Pamela Lees and husband Gary of Caryville, grandchildren Nicholas and Nolan Lees and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Cedar Hill Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment with be at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 22, 2014 in the family cemetery in Caryville. In lieu of flowers make donation to Campbell County Cancer Society, Cedar Hill Baptist Church or Charity of your choice.
